Our Engagements
Three ways to work with a senior advisor
Each engagement is scoped and priced clearly. No hidden fees, no expanding briefs without discussion. You choose the format that fits your situation.

How a Korvenix engagement unfolds
Every engagement, regardless of type, follows the same underlying rhythm. We begin by listening — to the founder, the leadership team, or whoever holds the relevant knowledge. We do not arrive with a view already formed.
From the initial conversation, we identify what needs to be understood, and how. We then proceed methodically — gathering information, testing assumptions, and drafting preliminary findings — before presenting our conclusions in written form.
Initial conversation — no charge
We understand your situation and confirm whether an engagement is a reasonable fit.
Scope and fee agreed in writing
Both parties understand what will be delivered and at what cost before any work begins.
Engagement conducted
Interviews, observation, analysis, and drafting — carried out by a senior advisor, not delegated.
Written output delivered
A clear document that you can read, share, annotate, and build on.
Follow-up discussion included
We walk through the output together and address any questions about implementation.
Before you choose
The right engagement depends on your situation, not on what sounds most comprehensive. Here is a rough guide:
-
If you are weighing a significant strategic decision — a new market, a change of direction, a leadership transition — the Strategic Direction Mapping engagement is likely most relevant.
-
If your operations feel inefficient but you are not sure where the friction lies, the Operational Review is a practical starting point.
-
If you simply want a trusted sounding board on an ongoing basis, the Founder's Hour is designed for that.
Engagement 01
Strategic Direction Mapping
A considered review of where your enterprise stands and where it might thoughtfully move next. The engagement begins with quiet listening — interviews with founders, leadership team, and select stakeholders — followed by a structured diagnostic of market posture, internal capability, and competitive context.
We then prepare a written direction document outlining three to five plausible paths forward, each with reasoned trade-offs. The goal is not to tell you what to do, but to make your options visible and your decision better-informed.
- Stakeholder interviews and listening sessions
- Market posture and capability diagnostic
- Written direction document (three to five paths with trade-offs)
- One-page strategy brief for internal communication
- Two follow-up sessions to discuss implementation considerations
Engagement 02
Operational Review
A focused look at how your day-to-day work flows — and where small adjustments may yield meaningful improvement. We walk through key processes alongside your operations leads, observe handovers, and prepare a written review noting friction points, sequencing concerns, and recommended refinements.
The aim is not wholesale transformation but considered refinement of what already works. Best suited to small and mid-sized firms with a stable team and clear operational footprint.
- Process walkthrough with operations team
- Observation of handovers and workflow transitions
- Written review of friction points and sequencing concerns
- Recommended refinements with rationale
- One discussion session on findings and next steps
Engagement 03
Founder's Hour
A standing monthly conversation between the founder or managing director and a senior advisor. Each session is unstructured by design — we listen to what is currently weighing on the leadership team, offer measured perspective drawn from comparable engagements, and leave space for the conversation to develop naturally.
No agenda is required, and notes are kept only at your request. Useful for those who want a thinking partner outside the immediate organisation, without the formal scaffolding of a longer engagement.
- One session per month (approximately one hour)
- No agenda or preparation required
- Senior advisor — same person each session
- Notes taken only on request
- Cancel with thirty days notice

Across All Engagements
Standards that apply regardless of engagement type
Client confidentiality
Nothing discussed in an engagement is shared with any third party. No anonymised case studies without explicit permission.
Senior advisor throughout
The advisor who begins the engagement is the same one who concludes it. No handoffs to junior staff.
Written scope before work begins
A brief written scope document is agreed before any engagement commences. Both sides know what is included and what is not.
No third-party referral arrangements
We do not receive fees for recommending vendors, software, or service providers. Our advice is not shaped by commercial affiliations.
Scope changes by agreement only
If circumstances suggest the scope should shift, we raise this and agree on a revised approach before proceeding. No silent expansions.
Post-engagement feedback
At the close of each engagement, we ask what was useful and what was not. We use this to improve future work.
Pricing
Fixed fees, agreed in advance
All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit and include the full scope of work described. There are no additional charges for routine calls or email exchanges during the engagement.
