Considered counsel for organisations at a crossroads
We work alongside founders and senior leadership teams to make sense of where they stand — and where they might thoughtfully move next.
Our Engagements
Three ways we can work together
Each engagement is shaped to the organisation's current context — no two conversations begin in the same place.
Engagement 01
Strategic Direction Mapping
A considered review of where your enterprise stands and where it might thoughtfully move next — from quiet listening through to a written direction document with reasoned trade-offs.
- Six to eight week engagement
- Written direction document included
- Two follow-up discussion sessions
Engagement 02
Operational Review
A focused look at how your day-to-day work flows and where small adjustments may yield meaningful improvement — without wholesale transformation.
- Four to six week engagement
- Written review of friction points
- Discussion session on findings
Engagement 03
Founder's Hour
A standing monthly conversation between the founder or managing director and a senior advisor — unstructured by design, useful for those who want a thinking partner outside the organisation.
- Monthly standing session
- No agenda required
- Notes kept only on request
Why Korvenix
What distinguishes a considered engagement
We listen before we speak
Every engagement begins with a period of quiet observation. We do not arrive with pre-formed answers.
Written deliverables, not slide decks
Our recommendations arrive as considered documents — something to read, return to, and act on in your own time.
Trade-offs made visible
We present options with their costs and consequences laid plainly — not a single prescribed path, but a reasoned range.
Senior attention throughout
You work directly with an experienced advisor — not passed to junior staff once the brief is signed.
Discretion as a matter of course
What you share in our conversations remains within the engagement. We take confidentiality seriously and without exception.
Local context, regional perspective
Grounded in Malaysia's commercial landscape, with reference to comparable situations across Southeast Asia where relevant.
Begin when you are ready
Is this a moment worth examining more carefully?
There is no obligation in a first conversation. If you are weighing a significant decision or simply want an outside perspective, we are glad to hear from you.
Common Questions
Things people often ask before reaching out
What kind of organisations do you typically work with?
We work primarily with Malaysian small and mid-sized businesses — often founder-led, occasionally at a point of transition such as leadership change, market expansion, or strategic uncertainty. We are not structured for very large corporates with internal strategy functions, but we do work well alongside them when a second opinion is useful.
How does an engagement typically begin?
We suggest starting with a short conversation — no more than thirty minutes — to understand your situation and whether the engagement is a reasonable fit. There is no fee for this. If both sides are comfortable proceeding, we agree on scope and a start date before any work begins.
Do you work on-site or remotely?
A combination of both. Early conversations and observation sessions are often better in person, particularly if we are reviewing operations or meeting the broader team. Written work and follow-up sessions are handled remotely. We are based in Kuala Lumpur and work with clients across Peninsular Malaysia.
How long before we see any useful output?
For the Strategic Direction Mapping engagement, you would receive an interim diagnostic note within the first three weeks, followed by the full direction document at the six to eight week mark. Operational reviews tend to produce findings earlier, given the narrower scope. Founder's Hour is ongoing by nature — the value accumulates over time.
What happens if our situation changes mid-engagement?
We adjust. Business situations change, and a rigid engagement structure would be of limited use. If the original scope no longer fits, we have a direct conversation about what has shifted and agree on a sensible way forward. We do not charge for this flexibility — it is part of how we work.
Are the fees shown on your site fixed, or can they be discussed?
The fees listed reflect standard engagements. In some cases — particularly for smaller organisations or situations where the scope is narrower than usual — there is room for a conversation. We are willing to discuss this openly once we understand your context.
