About Korvenix
A practice built on the discipline of listening first
We believe that good counsel rarely begins with a framework. It begins with a conversation — and the patience to understand a situation before offering any view on it.

Korvenix was not built for volume
Korvenix came together in Kuala Lumpur in 2009, when a small group of senior advisors — each with a background in strategy, operations, or organisational development — decided that the kind of consulting they valued most was rarely found in large firms. The work they had each done over their careers pointed in a different direction: smaller, quieter, more careful.
The practice has stayed small by intention. We take on a limited number of engagements each year, which allows us to give each client proper attention — not a stream of deliverables produced by junior analysts, but a consistent relationship with an advisor who knows the situation well.
Over the years we have worked across a range of industries — manufacturing, professional services, technology, education, retail — always with the same approach: understand the situation thoroughly, think carefully about the options, and communicate findings in plain language.
Our Mission
To offer measured perspective at moments that matter
Founders and leadership teams often face decisions that are consequential, time-pressured, and difficult to discuss openly within the organisation. We offer a space for those conversations — unhurried, confidential, and free from any particular commercial agenda.
Clarity over confidence. We do not pretend to certainty we do not have. Where a situation is genuinely unclear, we say so.
Independence above convenience. Our advice is shaped by what we actually think — not by what might be easiest to hear.
Discretion without exception. Every conversation is held in confidence. We have no affiliations that would compromise this.
The Team
Senior advisors, not consultants
Each member of the Korvenix team has spent a significant part of their career inside organisations — not merely advising them from outside. That experience shapes how we listen.

How We Work
Standards we hold ourselves to
These are not aspirational values written for a brochure. They are the ways we have found our work to be most useful.
Written findings, always
We do not deliver verbal conclusions and call it an engagement. Every piece of work produces a written document — something you can share, annotate, and return to.
Client confidentiality
We do not share client information with any third party, and we do not reference one client's situation when advising another. Our engagements remain separate and private.
No referral interests
We do not receive fees from third parties for recommending services, software, or service providers. Our recommendations are shaped solely by what we believe is useful for your situation.
Agreed scope, respected
We do not expand engagements without a new conversation. If we think something beyond the original scope is worth addressing, we raise it — and you decide whether to proceed.
Continuing development
Each advisor maintains active reading and engagement with relevant business literature and regional market developments. We are not coasting on past experience.
Feedback welcomed
At the close of each engagement, we ask clients what was useful and what was not. We take this seriously and use it to shape how we work in subsequent engagements.
Our Perspective
On the practice of business consulting in Malaysia
Business consulting in Malaysia occupies an unusual position. On one side, there are the large international firms — structured, process-driven, and often more useful to multinationals than to the family-owned or founder-led enterprises that make up much of the country's commercial fabric. On the other, there is a wide range of smaller operators whose quality is difficult to assess from the outside.
Korvenix sits between these. We are not a large practice, and we do not aspire to become one. What we offer is senior attention, local knowledge, and a disciplined approach to advice-giving that prioritises your ability to make a well-considered decision — rather than our ability to produce an impressive quantity of material.
Across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, and Johor, we have worked with companies across a range of sectors — from healthcare services to industrial distribution, from professional practices to early-stage technology ventures. The common thread is not the industry; it is the leadership team's desire to think more clearly about a situation that matters.
Our experience suggests that the most valuable thing an outside advisor can offer is not expertise in a narrow technical area, but the ability to listen carefully, reflect what they hear back in a useful form, and help a leadership team see their situation from a slightly different angle. That is what we aim to do, in every engagement.
